The PAX 6 Razor Saw (item 101-680), features a 6 long, extremely fine 40 TPI blade that is suitable for the finest work. Because the teeth are so fine, this saw leaves an extremely smooth surface making it perfect for small and delicate joinery tasks. This saw features of cutting depth below the highly polished folded brass back and has a comfortable turned walnut handle with brass ferrule. The teeth on the .014 thick blade have no set creating an extremely fine kerf.
The PAX 8 Mini Gents Saw (item 101-681), features an 8 long, 20 TPI blade that cuts quickly while leaving a smooth surface. This traditional saw is perfect for cutting dovetails in fine furniture as well at other joinery tasks. The Mini Gents features 1-1/8 of cutting depth below the highly polished folded brass back and has a comfortable turned walnut handle with brass ferrule. The saw plate measures .019 with a set of just .028 and teeth filed rip.
The PAX 6 Flush Cut Saw (item 101-682), features a 6 long, 20 TPI blade that cuts on the pull stroke, The extra short folded brass back and very flexible alloy steel blade allows the blade to flex when flush trimming dowels, plugs, and tenons. The teeth have no set to avoid scratching the adjacent workpiece surface. The comfortable turned walnut handle with brass ferrule provides a comfortable and durable grip.
